Own production of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose

The initiator is a joint venture LLC "Chemistry International" with equity participation in the project:

· Alliance Capital - 74%;

· Navoiyazot JSC (Uzbekistan) – 26%;

Navoiyazot JSC is a diversified industrial and production complex producing mineral fertilizers, chemical reagents and other chemical products. The complex produces over 30% of all chemical products in Uzbekistan and covers the needs of almost all industries, transport, agriculture, fuel and energy complex, as well as services, trade, science, culture and education. The enterprise will be created on the vacant production areas of Navoiyazot JSC, which will ensure the availability of all the infrastructure necessary for the production process.

Areas of HPMC application

Construction industry

Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is used as a water-retaining retarder additive for cement mortars. With its binding properties, it is used in tile adhesive, gypsum sludge and materials, as well as in dry building mixes as a component of the adhesive substance.

Textile industry

The addition of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose to the fibers of the fabric gives greater hygroscopicity of the fabric and, accordingly, makes the wear of the product more comfortable.

Pharmaceutical industry

Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is used as a film-forming agent in aqueous film coatings, as well as in formulations with controlled release of active pharmaceutical ingredient. It acts as a thickener, emulsifier and binder in tablets.

Food industry

Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose has many useful characteristics for the food industry – thermal gelation, film formation, thickening and other properties. Registration code: E-464.
